Retail News:"Mattress money" boosts Irish Dec retail sales

DUBLIN, Feb 22 (Reuters) - Irish annual retail sales surged nearly 12 percent in December as Christmas shoppers rushed to clear the decks of Irish currency ahead of the euro changeover, economists said on Friday.
