Retail News:US web site retail sales rose in fourth quarter 2001

WASHINGTON, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Sales at U.S. online retailers rose 34.4 percent in the last three months of 2001 from the third quarter, and were up 13.1 percent from a year earlier, the government said on Wednesday, as shoppers increasingly used the Internet to make holiday purchases.
