Retail News:Barnes & Noble swings to profit as sales rise

NEW YORK, March 21 (Reuters) - Barnes & Noble Inc. BKS.N , the U.S. No. 1 bookseller, on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter profit, vs. a year-ago loss, on strong sales through the 2001 holiday shopping season despite a soft retailing climate.
