Retail News: Gardening retailer sprouts anew

Avid gardener Ila Bossons used to make regular trips to a Cruickshank's gardening store for unusual spring bulbs and distinctive varieties of paperwhite and amaryllis bulbs at Christmas -- specialty items she couldn't find anywhere else.
But after Heather Reisman's Indigo Books & Music took over Cruickshank's in March, 2000, Ms. Bossons' interest in the high-end gardening retailer wilted because of waning service and selection.
