Retail News: Maytag Income Falls; Sees Slower Sales

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Maytag Corp. MYG.N , the No. 3 U.S. appliance maker, on Tuesday reported a drop in first-quarter net income, as year-ago results were boosted by a tax benefit, and said sales growth is likely to slow down through the year compared with the record pace in the last three months.
