Retail News: Office Depot Posts Higher Profits

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Office Depot Inc., the No. 1 U.S. office products retailer, on Wednesday reported an 82 percent jump in first-quarter net income due to lower costs and revamped merchandising, and it said full-year earnings should hit the high end of its forecast.
