Retail News: RadioShack profits rise 24 pct despite lower sales

CHICAGO, April 23 (Reuters) - RadioShack Corp. , the No. 3 U.S. consumer electronics retailer, reported a 24 percent rise in quarterly earnings on Tuesday as lower payroll costs and higher profit margins offset declining sales of computers and satellite television systems.
