Retail News: ShopKo CEO Podany departs in surprise move

NEW YORK, April 9 (Reuters) - Specialty and discount chain ShopKo Stores Inc. surprised analysts on Tuesday with the announcement that its chief executive officer, William Podany, had resigned, despite the retailer's promising turnaround over the past year and a half under his direction.
